Free nesting software for SVG and DXF parts

You can nest SVG and DXF parts without buying software first. Here is how SVGnest, Deepnest-next and NestForge fit different workflows, plus a complete example to try.

Which free nesting tool fits your files?

What is free in NestForge?

Import your parts, set quantities and spacing, run nesting and download the layout. Calculating and viewing are free at any size, with no time limit. Free export covers up to 10 parts on one sheet; a one-time €49 v1 license exports larger jobs.

Try a complete eight-part project

The acrylic enclosure example includes the original source credits, prepared DXFs, a project and exported layouts. Open its eight-part, one-sheet project in the free version. The guide also shows the same parts on two smaller sheets; you can recalculate that option for free, and exporting it needs the full version.

Compare one job, not just the preview

  1. Use the same quantities, stock size, allowed rotations and gaps in each tool.
  2. Check a known dimension after import and confirm that holes belong to the right part.
  3. Compare the stock required for complete layouts, then open each export in your cutting software.

NestForge handles layout geometry. Common-line merging and machine toolpaths belong to a different workflow; choose a tool that supports them if your job needs them.
